In a research conducted by Connect Commons, which interviewed 160 people from a range of industries and positions, researchers found that flourishing in your career depends as much on your relationships as it does on your job itself. On the other hand, in a study conducted by Microsoft of 30,000 people over 31 countries, it was found that a year of full-time remote work had a drastic impact on organizational connections–that people consistently report feeling disconnected in their organization.
