Our Philosophy Growth Means Change

In business, as in any field, growth means change. For change to be effective and lasting, and therefore constitute true growth, it has to be pervasive, unfolding throughout the entire organization, and resonating reciprocally among its constituent parts. Upgrading and fine-tuning the competencies of any business organization therefore requires an integrated approach, one that gives due consideration to both specific elements and the organization as a whole.

The most important specific element are the people within the organization. Recognizing that the individual and the organization are integrally linked is crucial to improving overall performance. In the corporate context, true change cannot be effected in the people alone or in the organization alone. Unless fostered with an awareness that these two facets are interrelated and inseparable, change will not lead to effective growth in either.

Coaching services are apt to overlook how this integral systemic relationship between the individual and the organization plays out in terms of practical competencies and goal achievement. At coach A, however, we make that integral link the cornerstone of our approach. Our coaching for individuals, such as one-on-one executive coaching, is designed to improve not only the performance of the individual coachee but also, through the very same engagement, that of the team or company of which that individual is a part. The same applies conversely in our group and company-wide coaching services.

Every individual and every organization has limitations, some external窶廃revailing economic and market conditions, for example窶蚤nd some internal, entrenched within the particular individual or workplace or corporate culture concerned. Most of the limitations that affect a company’s performance are of the internal kind: they exist within the individuals and within the organization, not outside them. Even looking at external factors, the fact that some companies cope better with them than others with otherwise comparable attributes tells us it is the internal limitations, rather, that hold certain companies back.

Every internal limitation is within a company’s reach and grasp to solve. This is the pivotal shift in awareness that activates effective efforts toward eventually breaking free from those limitations. Through an integrated approach and a culture of self-identifying and eliminating internal limitations, coach A helps clients to develop their internal resources to meet internal challenges--- finding solutions to previously daunting challenges; anticipating and responding quickly to market trends; creating new business; and ultimately enjoying increasing sustained growth and business success.
